Prep Time: 5 minutes
Soak Time: overnight
OK, I feel silly even calling this a recipe because it is so simple. A great rule of thumb to follow when baking with raisins is to soak them overnight in order to plump them up. This is usually soaking in water. However, what if you soaked them in bourbon? That has to be amazing, right? YUP!
These raisins would be great to add to any recipe, but I think it’s especially amazing in my Apple Strudel.
Ingredients:
- ½ cup raisins
- ½ cup of bourbon (no need to use anything expensive!)
Add raisins to a bowl and cover with bourbon
- Cover and allow them to soak in the fridge overnight.
- Drain and use in any recipe that you love adding raisins to!
