- 10 large lemons
- 1 cup sugar
- 3-4 cups water (less water will make it more sweet)
- Lemon slices, for serving
- 6 Springs of Fresh Mint
This is a great simple recipe for kids to follow, especially great on hot summer day.
Ask an adult to help you cut the lemons in half and use a kid cutting safety glove.
Squeeze the juice from the lemons into a bowl and pour through a strainer to help remove the seeds.
Add the sugar and water to a pot till it boils and makes simple syrup. Turn off stove and let it cool.
Add the simple syrup to the lemon juice over ice and stir well….
Pour the lemonade over ice or let sit in the fridge till ready to serve.
Serve with ice sprig of mint and lemon slices!
